The Ikemisetseng Farming Co-operative in Tweefontein Village to the south of Thaba Nchu received irrigation equipment and fencing materials from the trust. This co-op has been farming in the area for many years and have grown their small operations to such an extent that expansion was necessary.
An area of 53 Hectares were fenced and ploughed and the irrigation equipment will be used for the existing crops as well as the newly ploughed area. Besides vegetables, this group also farms with sheep, pigs and chickens.
