School Shoe project 2024

224 pairs of shoes were handed out at 7 Primary Schools in Botshabelo and Thaba Nchu. Seeing the joy when the children received their brand new Toughees shoes was just priceless! 1000 Food hampers were distributed during the 2023 Christmas season.

Christmas Hampers 2022

560 Food hampers and gift packets for children was delivered early December 2022. Besides the hamper packed with non-perishable food items, they each received 20kg maize meal and 5kg cake flour.

Mamokae E.L.C.

Educational toys were handed out at the Mamokae Early Learning centre in Sediba Village near Thaba Nchu. Oh the happy faces!

Easter Egg hand-out

Facilitated through Headstart Kids, the learners at Grey College School in Bloemfontein donated Easter eggs which were handed out at creches around Botshabelo and Thaba Nchu. It seems like a small gesture, but it had such an impact bringing some Easter joy to the children.

Covid Hampers 2020

A TCAT Covid-19 hunger relief program was launched at the end of July 2020 and continued for 6 months. The food parcels were distributed to Paradys, Talla, Bofulo, Rooibult, Kgalala, Modutung, Middeldeel, Morago, Gladstone, Nogaspont, Yorksford, Rietfontein, Grootdam, Klipfontein, Balaclava, Springfontein, Tweefontein, Kommisdrift, Woodbridge 2, Sediba and Seroalo Trusts. Christmas 2019

At the end of 2019, instead of food parcels, TCAT decided to spread some Christmas cheer by distributing clothing parcels to nearly 700 children aged 1 to 16. Madiba Day Celebration 2018

TCAT joined hands with the Department of Social Development in Thaba Nchu this year to celebrate individuals who are aged 100 and above. They were assisted with the cleaning and painting of their houses and each received a blanket for the cold winter and food hamper valued at R1000 each.

Womens Day Hampers 2017

In 2017, the trust repeated its initiative from the previous year, to assist 1000 girl learners with sanitary towels for 12 months.
