Community Gardens

The vegetables at the Botshabelo Community gardens are looking good after all the recent rains. With support and mentoring from Modulaqhowa Nursery in Botshabelo, the team is doing great work in food security.

Garlic Community Garden

The Community Gardens in Botshabelo have been completed. The venture will be run by a local co-op and members of the community are invited to make use of the land and water to expand their own farming enterprises.

Flour Girlz Bakery Launch

The launch of the Flour Girlz bakery in Thaba Nchu was a grand affair with key role-players from the area attending the garden tea-party to celebrate the official opening of the bakery. The bakery supplied all the eats and treats for the event. Delicious indeed!

Moola for Waste Win-a-Bike

The Moola centre recently held a competition for school pupils in which they could win a bike for recycling the most waste during a 6 month period. One boy and one girl each won a brand new mountain bike, and the 4 runners up each received a food hamper packed with goodies. The winner recycled…

Flour Girlz Bakery

The brand new Flour Girlz bakery is officially open for business trading from the Naledi Sun premises. Fresh bread daily! Other services include catering for birthdays, weddings, christenings etc. TCAT assisted by purchasing a container bakery fitted with state of the art bakery equipment.
