At the end of 2019, instead of food parcels, TCAT decided to spread some Christmas cheer by distributing clothing parcels to nearly 700 children aged 1 to 16. TCAT joined hands with the Department of Social Development in Thaba Nchu this year to celebrate individuals who are aged 100 and above. They were assisted with the cleaning and painting of their houses and each received a blanket for the cold winter and food hamper valued at R1000 each.
In 2017, the trust repeated its initiative from the previous year, to assist 1000 girl learners with sanitary towels for 12 months.
1000 Hampers consisting of Sanitary Towels for a year, and roll-on were distributed to girls from the Thaba Nchu Trust areas.
570 Pairs of school shoes were distributed to primary school learners in Botshabelo. In the cold winter months when many of these children go to school barefoot, this was a welcome relief for many.
