In order to apply for funding from the Thabo Trust, the following criteria needs to be adhered to:
OUR MANDATE:
• The Thabo Community Action Trust (TCAT) was established for the benefit, welfare, maintenance and development of the people of the Thaba Nchu and Botshabelo areas.
• The benefit is intended to include the general upliftment and development as determined by the Trustees
• Any community/organisation which may be identified by the Trustees in their discretion as a community/organisation in need of assistance or upliftment
PROJECT CRITERIA:
• Resides in Botshabelo/Thaba Nchu
• Allign and adhere to the scope of the TCAT deed mandate
• Are sustainable
• Are based or will be operating in the Botshabelo/Thaba Nchu region
• Are of benefit to the community and not just an individual
• Are of an empowerment nature (Skills, Education, Disability upliftment)
• Stakeholders and the project purpose is credible
• Are a registered entity
• Meet the requirements of becoming a registered entity (NPO/NPO/Section 21)
• Will create an impact that can be monitored and measured
